Born Kathryn Hudson to parents who were pastors, singer/actress/songwriter Perry grew up listening to gospel music and singing in church. She released a Christian music album called AKaty Hudson@ in 2001 before switching to mainstream pop music. Here is the first taste of her forthcoming debut, AOne Of The Boys@, due June 17.
